How to reach St. Clair

- By car:

Take the motorway until Toulon, then towards Hyeres. Leave the motorway. Enter Hyeres, follow the signs to Le Lavandou. St. Clair is is the first village on the coast after Le Lavandou, in the direction of St. Tropez.

- By train:

- Arrive to Toulon railway station; go to the bus station (adjacent to the railway station), take the bus to Le Lavandou-St. Clair. (See website addresses under "Links"). Or, from Toulon, take the train to Hyeres, then a bus to Le Lavandou-St Clair.

- By plane:

RyanAir seems to have currently suspended flights to Toulon-St Tropez, hopefully only temporarily; please check on their site.

There are direct flights from Southampton to Toulon-Hyeres in July, August and September. See here: http://www.flybe.com/cheap-flights/toulon/

- Fly to the airport of Hyeres (also called "Toulon-St. Tropez", "Toulon-Hyeres", or "Toulon-Cote d'Azur"). There is a RyanAir service from London Stansted; also (on certain days in high season) a CityJet service from London City.

Take EITHER the direct bus service (when available) from the airport to Le Lavandou; OR the bus  to the central bus station ("Gare routiere") in Hyeres, and then from there the bus to Le Lavandou-St. Clair.

In St. Clair, get off at the stop "Pins Penches" or "Le Lido".

Other solutions by bus are also possible, depending on the season; try experimenting with the search engines on the bus websites (see addresses under "Links"), entering: Depart: "Hyeres Aeroport", Arrivee: "Le Lavandou".

You can also go from the airport to Bormes (it's the service to St. Tropez), then change bus to Le Lavandou.

Or take a taxi from the airport to Le Lavandou (it used to be approx 45 Euros, may have gone up now), or hire a car. (See website addresses under "Links")

- Alternatively, fly to Marignane (Marseille-Provence) or to Nice, then take the shuttle to the railway station and then a train to Hyeres, then a bus to Le Lavandou; or hire a car, or take a taxi. Average travel time by train Marseille-Hyeres: 1h17; Nice-Hyeres: 2h25.

See also different comparison web sites (under "Links").
