Two-bedroom flat on the French Riviera

The flat faces south on to the sea and enjoys unhindered, panoramic views over the bay of St. Clair (see Views). It is composed of two double bedrooms (one with a double bed, the other with two single beds plus one on a mezzanine), living room and open-plan kitchen, bathroom plus separate toilet, and lovely,  ample (25m2) terrace with tables, chairs, sunbeds and parasols. Private covered parking a few meters from the flat is available at no extra charge.

The flat is in excellent condition and can accommodate comfortably up to five people sleeping in the two bedrooms. It is fully furnished; equipment includes: vitro-ceramic hotplate (four plates), electric oven, microwave oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, filter coffee maker, toaster, electric kettle, iron, crockery, cutlery, pans, pots, etc. There is also a small safe, and equipment for  the beach.

There is no TV. Telephone and Internet (WiFi) facilities are available on request.

Bed sheets, pillow covers, kitchen towels and bath towels are provided, but will have to be washed and dried before leaving. (Guests may find it easier to bring their own, at least those for the last change).

We regret that smoking and pets are not permitted in the flat.

The building is on a slope, so looking from the front, the flat is on the first floor (which is excellent for the views), but at the back it is on the ground floor (which makes it easier for loading and unloading luggage).

Please note that the thirty or so meters from the gate to the entrance to the building are on a fairly steep slope and may prove a little uncomfortable to the elderly or the frail.

The flat is part of a small block in a pleasantly green and flowery plot located in St. Clair, a village belonging to the municipality of Le Lavandou, mid-way between St. Tropez and Toulon. Each flat has its own private parking.

The traffic on the nearby route departementale is usually moderate, and in this section of the coastline there is no railway.  As far as we are aware, there is no source of unpleasant noise or disturbance in the vicinity, and we certainly hope it will stay this way!

This sort of accommodation would ideally suit, for instance, a small family (with well-behaved children...) looking for a tranquil vacation in a quiet and exceptionally pleasant environment. For more excitement (particularly after dark) one should rather consider St. Tropez, Cannes, Monaco, etc.

Here are some pictures of the coast right in front of the flat:
